Where are the Workshops & Tutorial rooms for Thursday and Friday?

We will use the lecture rooms in the 2nd underground level of the Vèrtex Building (same building where we have been Mon. to Wed.). Rooms access will be through the main door of the building, located in its vertex, precisely. We will indicate their location using the usual FPL signage.

The International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications is held this year in the premises of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, also hosting the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC).

Long presentations

FPL paper presentations have 25 minutes available. Please, leave some time for questions, so prepare your presentation for less than 25 minutes to allow 3-5 minutes for questions.

Presenters will be able to upload their presentation to a common laptop provided by the conference, both in ppt/pptx and pdf formats.

Short presentations

FPL short paper presentations have 5 minutes available. Please, stick on this timing. We expect that no questions are done during short paper presentations as authors will have the opportunity to explain the paper, and answer questions during the associated coffee breaks and lunch times associated to the presentation.

Presenters will be able to upload their presentation to a common laptop provided by the conference, both in ppt/pptx and pdf formats.

Posters presentations

During FPL2019, short papers, PhD Forum and Demo Night contributions will have the opportunity to display a poster for discussion with the Community:

♦ Short papers and PhD Forum papers will have available the time corresponding to a previous or later coffee break or lunch.

♦ Demo Night contributions will be able to display the poster during the demonstration itself, Wed. 18:00 to 20:30.

Poster panels are vertical, allowing the display of A0-sized posters in vertical format.

Final paper submission - deadline Monday August 5th, 2019

  • ♦ Please use the IEEE template (the same as the submitted paper, link). Please ensure that no page numbers are added to your paper.
     
  • ♦ FULL papers have 6 pages plus up to 2 pages of references as standard with the possibility to add up to 2 extra pages charged at €75 each. Please observe that the Acknowledgments section is considered part of the paper. References pages have to contain references only.
     
  • ♦ SHORT papers (posters) have 4 pages plus up to 2 pages of references as standard with the possibility to add up to 2 extra pages charged at €75 each. Please observe that the Acknowledgments section is considered part of the paper. References pages have to contain references only.
     
  • ♦ PhD Forum and Demo Night contributions have 2 pages (including references).
